Why book with us
Peugeot Van Servicing & Repairs Pelsall with clear advice.
We work on the whole Peugeot van range, from the compact Partner to the mid-size Expert and the large Boxer. Plenty of electricians, plumbers and delivery drivers around Pelsall and Walsall run one, and we know how much they rely on it. We service them, diagnose warning lights, and repair clutches, brakes, suspension, steering and engine faults, with a clear price before anything is done.
Peugeot vans have a few well-known issues. Older HDi Partners use a fluid additive to help the particulate filter clean itself, and when it runs low a warning appears. The 1.6 HDi can also leak at the injector seals. Newer BlueHDi vans use AdBlue, and faults in the AdBlue tank and pump unit are a common cause of dash warnings and countdowns to a no-start, even when the tank has fluid in it.
We find the real cause first. We read the fault codes, test the system and check the simple things before suggesting parts. Then we call you with a clear quote, and tell you honestly what needs doing now and what can wait. No work goes ahead without your say-so. Racking, ply-lining and roof bars can stay in place for servicing and most repairs.
A garage has stood on our High Street site since 1936. Mark has been in the motor trade since leaving school, over 30 years, and Suzi has worked as a service adviser and in customer support. Van owners from Walsall, Aldridge, Walsall Wood and Brownhills use us because we are local, easy to talk to and open on Saturday mornings.
Partners and most Experts are plated under 3,000kg, so we can MOT them as Class 4. Many Boxers are plated at 3,300kg or 3,500kg, which makes them Class 7, and we cannot test those, though we can still service and repair them. Check your plate or V5C, or ask us. Call 01922 682200 to book. We are open weekdays 8:30 to 5:00 and Saturday 8:30 to 1:00.

Common questions
- How often should I service my Peugeot van?
- Intervals vary by model, engine and year, and many Peugeot vans show the next service on the dash. For a van working every day, servicing at least once a year or at the set mileage, whichever comes first, is a sensible rule. Give us your registration and we will check the right schedule.
- Can you MOT my Peugeot Boxer?
- It depends on its weight. We do Class 4 MOTs, which cover vans up to 3,000kg design gross weight. Many Boxers are plated at 3,300kg or 3,500kg, which makes them Class 7, and we cannot test those. Partners and most Experts are Class 4. Check the plate or your V5C, or call us.
- Why does my Peugeot say AdBlue fault with a full tank?
- On BlueHDi Peugeots an AdBlue warning with fluid in the tank usually points to a fault in the system, often the tank and pump unit, rather than the level. If left, the van counts down to a no-start. We read the codes and test the system so you know what has failed before you pay for parts.
- What is the additive warning on my Partner?
- Some HDi Partners carry a small tank of additive that helps the particulate filter burn off soot. When it runs low, a warning comes on and the filter can start to block. We top up the additive, reset the system and check the filter is clearing properly.
- Will an independent service affect my van's warranty?
- No. UK block exemption rules mean you can use an independent garage for servicing without affecting the manufacturer's warranty, as long as the schedule is followed and parts and oils are to the correct specification. We record the work for your service history.
- Is a Peugeot Partner the same as a Citroën Berlingo?
- Yes, they are built together and share engines, gearboxes and most parts. The same goes for the Expert and Citroën Dispatch, and the Boxer and Citroën Relay. We work on all of them. Because the parts are shared, they are usually easy to get hold of, which helps keep repair costs and time off the road down.
- Do I need to take out my racking?
- No. Racking, ply-lining and roof bars can stay in place for servicing, MOTs and most repairs. Please take out loose tools and stock where you can. If a job needs anything moved, we will tell you when you book. A quick clear-out also makes it easier for us to spot leaks, rust or damage in the load area.
- Do you offer discounts?
- Yes. We offer discounts to police, fire service, NHS workers and the armed forces. Fleet and business customers are welcome too. Just mention it when you call so we can note it on your booking, and have your ID to hand when you drop the van off.
- How do I book my Peugeot van in?
- Call us on 01922 682200 with your registration and what the van is doing. We are at 45 High Street, Pelsall, open Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00 and Saturday 8:30 to 1:00. If you are not sure what is wrong, describe what you hear, feel or see on the dash, and we will tell you how best to book it in.
