Why book with us
Motorcycle Servicing & Repairs Pelsall with clear advice.
We work on motorbikes alongside the cars and vans in our Pelsall workshop. Riders bring us everything from 125cc commuters to big tourers, adventure bikes, cruisers and sports bikes, and we have a motorbike lift so each one is held securely while we work. We also host bike meets outside the workshop, so you may already know a few of the riders who use us from Walsall, Brownhills, Bloxwich and Great Wyrley.
We work on all the main makes you see on local roads: Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph, BMW, Ducati, KTM and Harley-Davidson, plus plenty of others. Every bike has its own service schedule, oil specification and quirks, so we work from the maker's information for your model rather than a general list. If you are not sure whether we can look at yours, just ask.
Most of our bike work falls into a few areas. Servicing, from a simple oil change to a major service with valve clearances. Tyres, with tread, age and pressures checked. Brakes, including pads, discs, caliper rebuilds and fluid changes. Chain and sprocket kits. And electrical faults, from flat batteries and failed regulator/rectifiers to wiring and warning lights. We also prepare bikes for winter storage and recommission them in spring.
Our approach is the same for bikes as it is for cars. We look at the bike, find the real cause of any problem, and explain what needs doing now and what can wait. You get a clear quote, and nothing is started without your say-so. We give discounts to police, fire service, NHS workers and the armed forces.
A garage has stood on our High Street site since 1936. Mark and Suzi took it on in 2023 and renovated it, and Mark has been in the motor trade for over 30 years. If your bike needs a service, has a fault or just does not feel right, call us on 01922 682200 and we will talk it through.

Common questions
- Which motorbike makes do you work on?
- We work on most makes, including Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph, BMW, Ducati, KTM and Harley-Davidson. We see commuters, sports bikes, tourers, adventure bikes and cruisers. If you have something less common, call us on 01922 682200 and tell us what it is; we will be honest about whether we can help.
- Can you MOT my motorcycle?
- Yes. We carry out Class 2 MOTs on motorbikes over 200cc. Call us on 01922 682200 to book a bike MOT, as these are not bookable online. Many riders book the service and MOT together, so we can fix anything that would fail in one visit.
- Will servicing my bike with you affect the warranty?
- No, as long as the service follows the maker's schedule and uses parts and oils of the right specification. Under UK block exemption rules you do not have to use a main dealer to keep your warranty. We stamp your book and give you an itemised invoice, which is the record you need.
- How often should my motorbike be serviced?
- Most bikes need a service every year or at a set mileage, whichever comes first. The mileage gap varies a lot between bikes. Your handbook has the schedule; if you do not have it, call us with the make, model and year and we will check what your bike is due.
- Do you work on older and classic bikes?
- Yes, many older bikes come through our workshop. Older bikes often need more hands-on fault finding, especially with carburettors and electrics, and parts can take longer to find. Tell us what you have and we will be honest about what we can do.
- Can you get my bike ready for winter and back on the road in spring?
- Yes. Before storage we can change the oil, treat or drain the fuel and advise on keeping the battery charged. In spring we check the battery, tyres, brakes, chain and fluids, which is when we often find sticking calipers or flat batteries from a bike that has stood.
- Do you give discounts?
- Yes. We offer discounts to police, fire service, NHS workers and members of the armed forces. Just mention it when you book and bring your ID when you drop the bike off. It is our way of saying thank you to the people who look after our community.
- Will you give me a price before you start?
- Yes. We check the bike, explain what it needs and give you a clear quote. We do not start any work until you say yes, and if we find something else while we are working, we call you first. You will never come back to a bill you did not agree.
- How do I book my motorbike in?
- Call us on 01922 682200 with your bike's make, model and year and what you need. We are at 45 High Street, Pelsall, WS3 4LT, open Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00 and Saturday 8:30 to 1:00. Tell us about any noises or warning lights so we can plan the time needed.
