Why Is My Car Pulling to One Side?

Check the tyres first
Uneven tyre pressures are the easiest cause to rule out. Check both front tyres and make sure they match the pressures in your handbook.
Look at the tread too. One tyre wearing faster than the other, or one edge wearing more than the middle, can point to a tracking problem.
Alignment and brakes
If the car is out of alignment, it will often pull to one side and the steering wheel may sit off-centre. A hit from a pothole or a kerb is a common cause.
A brake that is sticking on one side can also pull the car. The wheel on that side may feel hot after a drive.
Get it checked
Worn suspension parts can cause the same pull. We check the tyres, brakes, alignment and suspension, so the fix is right the first time.
